  • The NIA, which is investigating the Phalgam attack, recreated the scene of the attack for the third consecutive day. Sources told Bhaskar that the NIA team is trying to find local support. For this, a forensic team is present for 24 hours.

  • The Uttarakhand government has cancelled the registration of Pakistani nationals coming to Char Dham and Hemkund Sahib due to the Centres order not to allow Pakistanis to stay in India. A total of 77 people had registered for the yatra which began on April 30.
  • The Indian Army conducted a joint exercise with CAPFs. The Trishakti Corps said, The Indian Army and Armed Police Forces have together sharpened operational preparedness. The Army had also given special training to members of Village Security Committees (VDGs) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • The Ministry of Home Affairs held a meeting with senior officers of the National Security Guard (NSG), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). NSG and police jointly conduct mock drill in Jammu. Counterterrorism operations are also going on in many places in the valley.
