Reliance Industries, Facebook Meta & open AI– Reliance Industries is in talks with Facebook Meta & ChatGPT maker Open AI. The hands were extended to have a discussion over having a planned data center in Gujarat, India.

Reliance Industries had held separate discussion with Facebook and Open AI for potential Artificial Intelligence in India. The report claimed that with these partnerships, the company are planning to expand their AI offering in India. As per the report cited that the two sources familiar with matter to claim that a potential partnership between Reliance Jio and OpenAI to distribute ChatGPT. Reliance Industry is planning to have India’s biggest data center at Gujrat.
Discussion of Reliance with Facebook & OpenAI- According to the report, Open AI had a discussion with it’s employees where they reportedly said that they are planning to reduce the subscription cost from $20. The report notes that Reliance is exploring selling Open AI model via an API to enterprise customers. The company also discussed for hosting and operating the data within the country so that the data of the Indians will remain within the country.

Apart from this Reliance Industry has also proposed for running Meta and Open AI models in a planned data center in Gujrat Jamnagar which is going to be the world’s largest data center as per the report from the Reliance Jio. Facebook Meta
will also be in collaboration with ChatGPT open AI.
