How the growth in the corporate sector does not depend upon your performance but it depends upon how you satisfy your boss, Is there an urgent need to modify the system.

Everyone who is working in the corporate sector look for their annual growth but does it really depend upon your performances?

How much hard work you have done throughout the year?

How much you have contributed to the growth of the organization?

Or it depends upon how much you have satisfied your boss by other means?

It’s a dream of every employee to work in a corporate sector where they will be able to explore their experiences, learn new things and have a satisfaction after contributing to the growth of the organization.

But what about the personal growth Does it depend upon how much hard work you have done throughout the year?

Some people struggle hard to complete the project, meet the annual target still they do not achieve the growth they want because some take away all their credit with just cheering up the boss and satisfy them by other means, like offering good food, good drinks and showing that they have done a lot with their flirty talks, and sometimes by offering themselves or gifts.

So, the deserving candidate gets lower growth compared to the one who have not worked so hard.

During the annual appreciation boss only remember how much gifts you have given or what you have done for him, he never remembers the contribution you have given for the growth of the organization, this is a harsh reality.

The consequences of being Introvert As much as I have seen closely at the organization a harsh reality is that even if you work harder or better you will not be able to achieve higher growth or higher position if you don’t have the skill to satisfy your boss. If you cannot show your boss that you have worked extremely hard for the growth of organization while the other one who has not worked best even will achieve it with their skills to satisfy the boss.

 

What a boss should do: Boss should judge the employee on the ground reality of their performances not on the basis of how much he does to satisfy him, because it’s a rare truth that one who will give their best on work will never give their best to satisfy the boss.

Is it good for the organization Sometimes the skilled employee who achieve lower growth due to the discrimination by the boss look for a better opportunity and leave the organization looking for their growth or sometimes showing a dissatisfaction.

Due to the boss a good organization will lose its performing employee, so the system of being judged an employee on its boss appreciation does it really worth or a modification in the system need to be done.

The growth should be evaluated based on the performance or the targets achieved: Employees should be evaluated based on their performances or the targets achieved there should not be a discrimination based on the how much he or she satisfy a boss.

Evaluation of the employee should be based on targets they have achieved and their contribution for the organization. There is an urgent need for the organization to modify the old system and start evaluating the employee on what they have and not on how they satisfy the boss. It will create a healthy competitive work in the organization which will help in the growth of the organization.

Boss should set the targets for the employee and there should be an open system for the evaluation, all the employee should be credited based on their achievement.
